Caught Shoplifting... what am i looking at ?

ok so here's the deal, it doesnt matter if the store was selling the item or not!because it was the property of the store they will charge u with shoplifting!if the person or store owned what u took then it's shoplifting!now if u just found it out around the mall somewhere then yeah u could have taken it but it was the property of the store so u stole it!
