I messed up with her?

I propositioned a lady friend of mine some money for and she was all down for it. I mean, I had with her for free a few times, but it was my idea to offer her. She never asked me for anything or demanded anything either. About a day after making the proposition, I asked her these exact words: "If the money wasn't involved, would you still let me come over next week?" I also said I wasn't accusing her of anything. Just wanted to know. Then, she blew up on me and told me 7uck me and my money. What do you folks think of her reaction and was it messed up for me to do what I did anyway? Let me know plz.
