Spilled water on keyboard at work?

I accidently knocked a gl of water on the keyboard at work. I took the plug out of the computer and popped off all of the keys. I immediately started getting the water out (and gunk cuz there was a lot) and when i thought it was dry i tried to plug it back in. When i plug it in the num cas and scrool lock all light up for a sec which these keyboard usually do, but then nothing after that. We have the same keyboards for every computer here and i stole one of the other computers keyboard to type on. I took the other keyboard out again and have it on a chair on the other side of the room. any suggestions? besides stinkin buying a new one?
