Justice Roberts' Court has ruled 5-4 against Obama countless times, why would this trend not continue?

Because they can only shoot down a bill if it's unconstitutional. If they shot down Immigration Reform of Health Care Reform, it would obviously be partisan spite, not effective checking and balancing.
